rebellion at attempt by some of the people in a country to change their government, using violence
siege when an army tries to take a city or building by surrounding it and stopping the food supply
civil war a war between groups of people in the same country
coup a sudden change of government that is illegal and often violent
treaty a formal agreement between two or more countries
ceasefire when two armies agree to stop fighting temporarily
revolution an attempt by a large number of people in a country to change their government
commander an officer in charge of a group of soldiers
the wounded people who have been injured by weapons
casualties people who have been killed on injured in a war
