4CV Multiplication Vocab
| Term | Definition |

| Factor | Whenever two or more numbers are multiplied to give a product, each of the numbers that is multiplied is called a factor. |
| Product | The ANSWER of multiplying two or more numbers called factors. |
| Identity Property of Multiplication | The mathematical rule that says that if you multiply any number by 1, the answer will always be that same number that you started with. 78 x 1 = 78 |
| Zero Property of Multiplication | The mathematical rule that says that If you multiply a number by zero, the answer will be zero. 0 x 19 = 0 |
| Multiplication | Mathematical operation when you take one number and add it together a number of times. It is sometimes called repeated addition. |
