Exponents and Operations

TermDefinition
Base The number that is multiplied by itself when raised to a certain power.
Exponent Represents the number of times the base is multiplied by itself.
Order of Operations A rule that tells us the sequence in which we should solve an expression with more than one operation.
Squared A number to the second power.
Cubed A number to the third power.
