| Circle | The set of all points equidistant from one point, called the radius | |
| Arc | A portion of the circumference of a circle. | |
| Radius | A segment from the center of a circle to a point on the circumference. | |
| Chord | A line segment connecting two points of a circles circumference. | |
| Diameter | The chord that passes through the center of a circle. It divides the circle into 2 congruent parts called semi-circles. It is the longest chord in a circle. | |
| Line | The set of all points that extend infinitely in the opposite direction. A line is infinite and immeasurable. It is uniquely determined by two points. | |
| Segment | A part of a line that is finite and measurable. | |
| Angle Bisector | A segment/line that divides and angles into two congruent angles. | |
| Midpoint | A point that divides a segment into two congruent parts. | |
| Segment Bisector | A segment or line that goes through a segment at its midpoint. It divides a segment into two congruent parts. | |
| Perpendicular | Segments, lines or rays that meet and form a right angle. | |
| Perpendicular Bisector | A segment or line that intersects a segment at its midpoint and also meets at a right angle. | |
| Parallel Lines | Two lines in the same plane that do not intersect. The distance between them remains constant. |
