| Combustibility | The chemical property of being able to burn at very high temperatures |
| Change in pH | A chemical reaction that indicates if a substance is an acid or base. |

| Oxidation | A chemical change in which a substance combines with oxygen, as when iron oxidizes, forming rust |
| bubbles form | this is an indication that a gas is created - the gas is a new substance |
