| Criollos | People born in Mexico, Spanish parents, Middle Class. |

| Missions | Religious community staffed by missionary priests and religious officials, as well as colonists and soldiers for protection. |

| Conquistador | A Spanish solider-explorer who sought personal riches and power. as well as wealth and glory for Spain, in the conquest of the Americas. |
