PERCUSSION The sharp striking of one thing against another OR Instruments that make a sound when struck.
PERENNIAL Lasting for an indefinitely long time. Continuing regularly. Living longer than two years, said especially of plants.
PERMEATE To penetrate through spaces; to spread throughout.
PERSEVERE To hold fast to a task or purpose despite obstacles.
FERO, FERRE "to bring", "to bear", "to carry" (think ferry) transfer, fertile, differ
DEFER To postpone; to delay To yield (give in) respectfully to the opinion or will of another.
INFER To use available evidence to form a conclusion To guess
TENDO, TENDERE, TETENDI, TENSUM "to stretch" pretend, tension, tense
CONTEND To engage in a quarrel, a struggle or rivalry. To assert or to put forward an argument.
INTENT Purpose Concentrating on or dedicated to an idea or action.
Nolo contendere I do not wish to contend.
INTER “between” internet, interactive
INTERCONNECTION Connection with other things that are related to each other.
INTERMISSION A pause or a break An interval between parts of a play, movie, or concert.
