Term | Definition |

Equidistant | To be the same distance |
Collinear | Three or more points that lie on the same line |
Segment Addition Postulate | If A, B, and C are collinear, and B is between A and C then AB + BC = AC |
Midpoint | Divides a segment into two equal, or congruent parts |
Segment Bisector | a segment, ray, line, or plane that intersects a segment at its midpoint |
Perpendicular Bisector | a segment, ray or line that is perpendicular to a segment at its midpoint |
Straight angle | An angle with a measure of 180 |
Acute angle | An angle with a measure between 0 and 90 |
Obtuse angle | An angle with a measure between 90 and 180 |
Right angle | An angle that measures 90 |
Locus | A set of all points that satisfy a given condition |
Angle Bisector | Divides and angle into two equal, or congruent parts |
Linear Pair | Two adjacent angles whose non-common sides are opposite rays |
Linear Pair Postulate | Two angles which form a linear pair are supplementary |
Complementary angles | Two angles whose measures have a sum of 90 |
Supplementary angles | Two angles whose measures have a sum of 180 |
Regular | A figure with all sides and all angles equal in measures |
Hexagon | A six-sided polygon |
