| Term | Definition |

| Equidistant | To be the same distance |
| Collinear | Three or more points that lie on the same line |
| Segment Addition Postulate | If A, B, and C are collinear, and B is between A and C then AB + BC = AC |
| Midpoint | Divides a segment into two equal, or congruent parts |
| Segment Bisector | a segment, ray, line, or plane that intersects a segment at its midpoint |
| Perpendicular Bisector | a segment, ray or line that is perpendicular to a segment at its midpoint |
| Straight angle | An angle with a measure of 180 |
| Acute angle | An angle with a measure between 0 and 90 |
| Obtuse angle | An angle with a measure between 90 and 180 |
| Right angle | An angle that measures 90 |
| Locus | A set of all points that satisfy a given condition |
| Angle Bisector | Divides and angle into two equal, or congruent parts |
| Linear Pair | Two adjacent angles whose non-common sides are opposite rays |
| Linear Pair Postulate | Two angles which form a linear pair are supplementary |
| Complementary angles | Two angles whose measures have a sum of 90 |
| Supplementary angles | Two angles whose measures have a sum of 180 |
| Regular | A figure with all sides and all angles equal in measures |
| Hexagon | A six-sided polygon |
