Text A database field type that contains characters, numbers and symbols eg. postcode
Number A database field type that contains whole numbers or decimal numbers eg. 12, 13.1
Date/time A database field type that contains dates and times eg. 12/4/2013, 12 Apr 13, 3:11:12
