What is an atom? The smallest particles of an element that maintains the properties of that element.
What is an atomic number? The number of protons an atom has.
What is a nucleus? The nucleus is the central part of an atom.
What is a molecule? A molecule is two or more atoms that combine together and become one unit.
What is a compound? A compound is when two or more elements combine.
How many elements are there? There are 117 elements.
Can elements be made? Elements 113,114,115,116,and 118 are man made.
Can elements react to anything? Yes number 43,61,84-112 are reactive.
