QuestionAnswer
Matter The "stuff" that makes up everything in the universe.
Chemistry The study of matter and it's properties.
Boiling Point The temperature at which a liquid turns into gas.
Melting Point The temperature at which a solid turns into a liquid.
Physical Change It changes shape but not it's identity.
Chemical Change It changes appearance and it's identity.
Mixtures Two kinds of matter mixed.
Pure Substances A single unchanged element.
Elements Things that cannot be broken down, only mixed.
Compounds A pure substances caused by the mix of two elements.
Atoms The smallest particle that makes up matter.
