Desultory (adjective) marked by lack of definite plan or regularity or purpose; disconnected; moving haphazardly
Vacuous (adjective) empty; void; vacant; lacking content, devoid of substance
Officious (adjective) offering advice when not requested; overbearing; meddling in affairs in which one has no concern
Juxtapose (verb) to place side by side, especially for comparison and contrast
