annals n: a written record of events presented in a year-by-year, or chronological, order
annuity n: a yearly or regular payment of a fixed amount of money that is paid as a result of an earlier investment, or the original investment contract itself
biennial a: happening every two years or lasting two years; n, an event that occurs every second year, or a plant that bears fruit, flowers, or seed in the second year
centennial n: the celebration of a one-hundredth anniversary; a, related to the celebration of a one-hundredth anniversary; happening once in a hundred years or lasting a hundred years
gregarious a: literally, living in flocks or herds; fond of being with other people
millennium n: a period of a thousand years; a time of great peace and prosperity
per annum adv: by the year or annually
perennial a: year after year; throughout the years; n, a plant that blooms annually
semiannual a: occurring every half year
superannuated a: worn-out or retired, as from age or years of use and hard work; obsolete or outdated
