Calculator Notation on a calculator display, E stands for an exponent of 10, followed by another number, which is the value of the exponent
Cube Root a number, written as ∛x, whose cube is x
Exponent a number that indicates how many times the base is used as a factor
Exponential Notation a "shorthand" way of writing repeated multiplcation composed of a base and exponent
Perfect Cube a cube of a whole number
Perfect Square a square of a whole number
Radical the symbol used to represent the nonnegitive square root of a number
Scientific Notation a method of writing very large of very small numbers by using powers of 10
Standard Notation the way we usually write everyday numbers
Square Root a number that is multiplied by itself to form a product
