N.1.1 Vocab

TermDefinition
Integer All whole numbers and its opposites including zero.
Ratio A relationship between two quantities, normally expressed as the quotient of one divided by the other.
Terminating Decimal A number that has a fixed or finite number of digits after the decimal point.
Repeating Decimal A number in which a digit or a set of digits repeats infinitely or without end.
Rational Number A number that can be expressed as a ratio of two integers, where the denominator does not equal zero.
Irrational Number A number that can not be expressed as a fraction.
