In a simple fraction both the numerator an denominator are intergers
If s simple fraction is less than 1 and greater that -1, then is a proper fraction, otherwise it is an improper fraction
A number that is made up of a non-zero interger and a proper fraction is called mixed number (or mixed fraction)
Equivalent Fraction A factor is in simplest form if the numerator and denominator have no common factors, except 1
