SkillDescription
Chop Breakdown Position: far arm has a tight waist while the near arm chops at the near elbow.
Stack Pinning combination: Far arm reaches under the head while the near arm reaches over the head in a lock to forcefully pull the head under an opponent.
Scramble Wrestling Natural response to keep wrestling in various situations.
Cross Face breakdown: Extending your forearm across the face of an opponent and grasping the tricep.
Return to mat #1 Off of a stand up, use your foot to block the far foot as you rotate and collapse to your far hip, rotate back over your opponent.
Front Quarter Defensive strategy to leg attacks, from a front headlock/sprawl Position, near arm is placed between your opponent's body and over their arm to create leverage, other arm grabs the wrist
Head in the pocket Off of collar tie, utilizing your head for leverage/blocking by placing your forehead in your opponent's temple.
Head in the hole From a front headlock, putting your head on the side of your opponent's gut/hip.
Ankle Ride From the top position, hooking your opponent's ankle to help you ride and breakdown your opponent.
Reshot Ability to take additional shots after the first attempt was defended.
Underhook Inside hand fighting strategy that comes under the arm and over the shoulder
Outside ties Hand fighting strategies where the wrestler reaches over their opponent's arms.
