| Skill | Description |
|---|---|
| Collar tie | Inside hand fighting strategy where the hand and arm wraps around the neck/head with the elbow left in a blocking position. |
| Pummel Drill | Inside hand fighting drill to help teach wrestlers to fight for inside ties. Completed by reaching arms under the arms to get a body lock. |
| Trips | Using your feet to pull/push an opponent off balance |
| Wrist Tie-up | Clasping your hands around the opponent's wrists and using pull methods to set your opponent off balance. |
| Barn door | Neutral position back step with one foot while the opposing foot acts as a pivot. Upper body stays in stance. |
| Knee Slide | Bottom position where wrestler slides their knee away from the opponent. Knee pads recommended. |
| Tree Top Finish | When a wrestler has returned to their feet with a leg the use an underhook/uppercut motion to left the opponent's leg over their shoulder. |
| Sudden Death | Next wrestler to score wins. (OT1, OT3) |
| Half Nielsen | Pinning combination where the offensive wrestler slides their arm under the opponent's arm and over their head. |
| Far-Side Cradle | Pinning combination: cross face motion, planting your other hand between their legs by the knee, running the head to the knee. |
| Near-Side Cradle | Pinning combination: pulling the opponent's face to their near shoulder, planting a hand or a knee between opponent's legs by the knee, and crushing your hands together. |
| Double Arm Pry | Breakdown Position: both arms reach inside the legs while your legs drive the opponent to the mat. |
