| Skill | Description |
|---|---|
| Stand-up | From the bottom position getting to your feet in an attempt to escape. |
| Fall | Pinning your opponent. |
| Nearfall | From the top Position exposing your opponent's back past a 90 degree angle for at least 2 seconds. |
| Warm-up | Break a physical sweat for 5 minutes, properly stretch muscles, and use mental performance strategies to be ready to wrestle a full match |
| Heavy hands | Continuous downward pressure on your opponent to push them off balance. |
| Chain Wrestling | Flowing from one move to the next. |
| Control Center | Keeping your back to the center of the mat and your opponent towards the out of bounds line. |
| Circle motion | Moving at an angle in neutral instead of straight forward or backward. |
| Pressure in | Pressing your opponent to get them to push back or lean in. |
| 2-2-2. | 3 periods that each last 2 minutes. |
| 1-2-2. | First period if 1 minute, remaining periods last two minutes. |
| 1:30-1:30-1:30 | 3 periods that each last 1 minute and 30 seconds. |
