Types of Numbers

QuestionAnswer
Natural Counting numbers, Starting at 1. No fractions or decimals. Also called Whole numbers.
Whole Set of all numbers including 0.
Integers Set o fall whole numbers, including negative natural numbers.
Rational Set of all numbers that can be written by dividing one integer by another. Include any number that can be as a fraction or ratio.
Irrational Set of all numbers that aren't rational. Number's that cannot be written by dividing one integer by another. When written as a decimal, it goes on forever without repeating itself.
Real numbers Set of all numbers on a number line. Include all rational and irrational. Can be 0, positive or negative integers, decimals, fractions, etc.
