wax verb: to gradually increase in size or intensity
becoming adjective: appropriate, and matches nicely
pittance noun: a small amount (of money)
scintillating adjective: describes someone who is brilliant and lively
lassitude noun: extreme tiredness, either mental or physical
unconscionable adjective: unreasonable; unscrupulous; excessive
misanthrope noun: a hater of mankind
contrite adjective: to be remorseful
errant adjective: to be wandering; not sticking to a circumscribed path
pugnacious adjective: eager to fight or argue; verbally combative
virago noun: an ill-tempered or violent woman
amok adverb: in a frenzied or uncontrolled state
bellicose adjective: warlike; inclined to quarrel
start verb: to suddenly move in a particular direction
avarice noun: greed (one of the seven deadly sins)
catalyst noun: something that speeds up an event
