AutoCad Commands

Copy left click line(s) to select left click on copy. Select the start of the drawing by left clicking. Click on the new desired placement of the drawing.
Rotate select object(s). Under modify select rotate and left click on the desired turning point (bottom left corner) and type in the degree of the desired rotation.
Trim left click on the border line. Hit enter. Left click on the part of the line you wish to delete. Click escape when done.
Polar Array Under Modify select Array then Polar. Select object(s). Hit enter and specify the center. Type in the amount of times you’d like to array and hit enter.
Text Select text. Select the top left and bottom right corner of the box for the text. Type and highlight text . Click on the font and Select TXT. make sure that width is a 0.2 and height is at 0.7. If not type it in and hit escape.
Centering text To center text Select Draw Line. Draw an X That attaches to the corners of your text box. select move then the text. Hit Enter. Turn off snaps and select the center on the text. Turn Object snaps on and place it on the text on the line's intersection.
Linear Dimensioning linear dimension allows you to dimension straight lines.
Aligned Dimensioning Aligned Dimension allows you to dimension lines that sit on an angle.
Erase Left click on the unwanted object(s) and left click on erase
Object Snap Object Snap allows a new line to snap to a specified place on/in an existing object. To turn on object snap look through the bottom right menu and left click on the one that says object snap when you hover over it.
Regular Snap Regular snap allows a line to snap only in certain places on the grid a specified distance apart.. To turn Regular snap on look through the bottom right menu and left click on the one that says regular snap when you hover over it
Changing Linetype Color Select a line . Go into the top menu where it says ByLayer click on the drop down menu where it says ByLayer with a line in front of it. Left click on the new line type. Click on where it says ByLayer with a white box next to it and select new color.
Iso. Draft A tool that allows your grid to be on a 30 degree angle allowing you to draw three dimensional items easier. To use it click on the fifth icon on the bottom right menu.
Gradient Hatch A type of hatch where one solid color fades into another. To get it, left click on Hatch in the Draw category. Select gradient. Choose colors and select pick points. Click inside of the desired area you would like to fill with a gradient. Hit escape.
