Lapse Noun. -a slip or error, often of a trivial sort; failure. OR Verb. -to come to an end; stop.
Insistent Adjective. -earnest or emphatic in dwelling upon, maintaining, or demanding something; persistent
Tentative Adjective. -unsure; uncertain; not definite or positive; hesitanty
Abrupt Adjective. -sudden or unexpected.
Tumult Noun. -uproar; disorder; highly distressing agitation of mind or feeling
Portentous Adjective. -ominous, predictive of future bad events.
Irreverent Adjective. -not respectful; critical of what is generally accepted or respected.
Vicarious Adjective. -taking the place of another person or thing; acting or serving as a substitute.
Rancor Noun. -resentmentor ill will; hatred; malice.
Formidable Adjective. -of great strength; forceful; powerful.
