What are 2 properties of minerals? Colour, hardness
How is igneous rock formed? It is formed when magma or lava hardens.
How is sedimentary rock formed? It is formed in layers.
How is metamorphic rock formed? It is changed under heat and pressure.
Why are minerals important? Humans and animals need minerals to live
What are minerals used for? Some minerals are used to make jewellery
How can we save resources? Reduce, reuse, recycle
What is the atmosphere? The layer of air that surrounds the Earth.
What is the geosphere? The core, mantle and crust of the Earth
What is the hydrosphere? All the water on the planet.
What is the biosphere? All the living things that inhabit the planet.
