| Term | Definition |

| Contradict | To say the opposite of something someone else has said; to deny the truth of something |
| Dictation | The act of speaking words that someone writes down or that a machine records; The act of dictating words |
| Dictator | A person who rules a country with total authority, often in cruel or brutal way |
| Predict | To say what will or might happen in the future |
| Verdict | The decision made by a jury in a trial; a judgement or opinion about something |
| Neonatal | Of, relating to, or taking care of babies in the first month after birth. |
| Neoclassic | Relating to a style of art or architecture like the ones found in ancient Greece or Rome. |
| Televise | To broadcast something by television |
| Telecommunication | The technology of sending or receiving signals, images, etc. Over long distances by telephone, television, satellite, etc. |
| Telescope | A device shaped like a long tube that you look through in order to see things that are far away. |
