Equilateral Triangle | triangle that has 3 congruent sides. |
Polygon | is a closed figure with 3 or more line segments. |
Quadrilateral | is a polygon with 4 sides and 4 angles. |
Right Triangle | A triangle with one 90-degree angle. |
Scalene Triangle | A triangle with no congruent sides. |
Square | A special parallelogram with 4 congruent sides and 4 right angles. |
Unit Cube | has a length, width, and height of 1 unit. |
Polyhedron | A solid figure with faces that are polygons. |
Nonagon | A polygon with 9 sides and 9 angles. |
Base | Usually, a polygon used to name or measure a 3D figure. |
Pyramid | A solid figure with a polygon base, and triangular faces that meet at a common vertex. |
Acute Triangle | A triangle that has 3 angles less than 90 degrees. |
Octagon | A polygon with 8 sides and 8 angles. |
Regular Polygon | A polygon that has all sides congruent and all angles congruent. |
Heptagon | A polygon with 7 sides and 7 angles. |
Congruent | Having the same size and same shape. |
Isosceles Triangle | A triangle that has 2 congruent sides. |
Decagon | A polygon with 10 sides and 10 angles. |
Obtuse Triangle | A triangle that has one angle that measures larger than 90 degrees. |
Parallelogram | A special trapezoid with opposite sides that are congruent and parallel. |
Rectangle | A special parallelogram with 4 right angles and opposite sides that are congruent. |
