| Term | Definition |

| Robber | is someone who steals from a person or place, using or threatening violence |
| Hijacking | the crime of using force or threats to take control of an aircraft, ship, car |
| Bribery | the crime of giving someone money or something else of value, often illegally, to persuade that person to do something you want |
| Smuggler | someone who takes goods or people into or out of a country illegally |
| Fraud | the crime of getting money by tricking or deceiving people |
| Drug dealer | a person who sells illegal drugs |
| Verdict | a decision by a jury as to whether someone is guilty after having heard the facts given at a trial |
| Witness | a person who sees an event happening, especially a crime or an accident |
| Pickpocket | a thief who steals things out of pockets or bags, especially in a crowd |
| Shoplifter | a person who takes goods illegally from a shop without paying for them |
| Punishment | the act of punishing someone for a crime |
| Jury | a group of people who have been chosen to listen to all the facts in a trial in a law court and to decide if a person is guilty or not |
| Blackmailer | someone who threatens to tell a harmful secret about another person in order to get money |
| Stalker | a person who illegally follows and watches someone, over a period of time |
| Proof | a fact or piece of information that shows that something exists or is true |
| Hacker | someone who gets into other people's computer systems without permission in order to find out information |
