| Incentive tourist | These tourists did not plan for the tour earlier. Suppose you have been rewarded with two tickets from the office because of your performance. You and your colleagues came for the trip. |
| Culinary / Gastronomic tourism | It is based on visiting food producers, food festivals, restaurants and special places in order to taste a special type of cuisine, to observe food preparation or to enjoy a local dish made by a famous chef. |
| Nautical tourism | This type of tourism that combines sailing and boating with vacation and holiday activities. It is a form of tourism that is generally more popular in the summertime. |
| Outbound / Outgoing tourism | It mainly refers to travelling to another country from their own residential places, which might be for different purposes. |
| Foodie tourist | This type is quite common. They just wish to taste various foods in various places. The signature dishes of those areas and various kinds of cuisine. |
| Dark / Mourning tourism | It involves visiting those places and sites that have witnessed the greatest tragedies in history. Besides this history of human suffering and bloodshed, these locations are famous for their historical value. |
| Wellness tourism | This tourism mainly attracts those tourists who want to regain their health. It will help you get rid of mental and health stress. Tourists recover their health issues by doing physical, spiritual, or psychological activities. |
| Celebrity tourism / Film tourism | In this type of tourism, prime attraction is super stars. Sometimes they come there as tourists and join the event. You can visit that place where the event happened earlier. Although none is present, only you can see the entire studio. |
| Special Interest tourists | They often plan their tour very well. This tourist does not need comfort but loves to do adventure. |
| Pilgrimage tourism | It is spiritually or religiously motivated travel, sometimes over long distances. It has been practised since antiquity and in several of the world's religions. The annual Hajj to Mecca (required once in a Muslim's lifetime) is a good example. |
