What is SOAPSTone? A strategy for analyzing text and speech
When can you use SOAPSTone? When reading or watching any texts or speeches
What are the two different types of Occasion? Immediate and Larger
What is a subject? The main topic of a text or speech
What is an occasion? It's the context of the speech. When and where it took place and the events that happened around it.
What is the audience? The people the speaker is trying to reach.
Who is the speaker? The person telling the story or delivering the information.
What is the tone? The attitude of the speaker that shows in the speech or text.
