| TO THROW AWAY | Irregular verb. When someone gets rid of something that doesn't want any more. |
| TO RECYCLE | Regular verb. When you sort and collect rubbish to treat it and produce useful materials that can be used again. |
| BIN | noun. It is a container where you throw something away. |
| TRAFFIC | noun. All the vehicles using the roads in an area. |
| ENDANGERED ANIMALS | noun. Animals that may soon disappear from the world because there are very few left alive. |
| RUBBISH | noun. Something that you throw away because you do not want it. |
| FACTORY | noun. It is a building or buildings where people use machines to produce or create goods. |
| LITTER | noun. It is made of small pieces of rubbish that has been left lying on the ground of public places. |
| OIL | noun. A thick liquid that comes from petroleum used as a fuel and for making machines move easily. |
| PETROL | noun. It's a liquid used specially as a fuel for cars and other vehicles. |
| TO HEAT | Regular verb. When someone makes something hot or warm, or when something becomes hot or warm. |
| ANIMAL WASTE | noun. It is the animal excrement. |
| ZOO | noun. It is an area in which animals, especially wild animals, are kept, so people can go and look at or study them. |
| ZOO-KEEPER | noun. It is a person who works in a zoo, taking care of the animals. |
| APPETITE | noun. It is a feeling that you have when you want to eat food. |
| TO COLLECT | Regular verb. When someone gathers together something. |
| PLANT-EATING ANIMALS | noun. An animal that eats only plants. |
| BIOGAS | noun. A gaseous fuel, especially methane, produced by the fermentation of organic matter. |
