| Atomic Number | Number of protons in the nucleus in an atom |
| Nuclear Fusion | Reaction in which the nuclei of one atom combines witht he nuclei of another to form a larger nuclei |
| Isotope | Atoms with the same number of protons but not the same number of nuetrons |
| Significant Figure | A number that express a magnitude to a specified degree of accuracy |
| Density | Mass per unit of volume |
| Metalloid | Element with the properties of both metals and nonmetals |
| Mass Number | Sum of the protons and neutrons in the nucles of an atom |
| Electron Cloud | System of electrons surroundign the nucles of an atom |
| Atom | Smallest particle of a substance that can exist by itself |
| Precision | The quality of beign exact |
| Accuracy | The ability to work wihtout mistakes |
| Scientific Notation | Mathod that expresses the number multiplied by 10 and the appropriate power |
| Percent error | Experiemental value minus the accpeted value, divided by the accepted balue and then multiplied by 100. |
