home bird (n) a person who is reluctant to leave their hometown or their childhood home, or who return after a period of living away eg: I'm a bit of a home bird, but I must change myself
relocate (v) (especially of a company or workers) to move or to move somebody or something to a new place to work or operate eg: the residents were relocated to temporary accommodation while the work was being done.
teeming with (ph. v) (usually be teeming with something) to be full of people, animals, etc. moving around eg: the streets were teeming with tourists
handle(v) -to deal with or be in charge of something(ocuparse de, manejar) -to touch, hold, or pick up something(tocar) eg: - Who handles the marketing in your company? - You must wash your hands before handling food.

stand for (ph. v) -to represent - The ’S’ stands for “simple.” -(of a person or group) to support an idea - A leader who stood for justice -
look forward to (ph. v) to feel excited about somethink that is going to happen (tener muchas ganas de) eg: I’m really looking forward to seeing you again.
look for (ph. v) to search for eg: I’ve been looking for that book everywhere.
rent out (ph. v) to allow people to use (a house etc which one owns) in exchange for money (alquilar) eg: How much do they rent out the cottage for?
struggle (n or v) -to try very hard to do something difficult (esforzarse) -He’s struggling to pay his bills. - to fight someone when they are holding you (pelear)-She struggled but couldn’t break free
land a job (expression) - to find a job and be hired eg: As soon as I land a job and start to bring in some money, I'm going to get a stereo
pick up the tab (for something)(idiom) to pay for sth, especially for what someone else has bought or used eg: The company will pick up the tab for this trip
on a budget (idiom) if you are on a budget, you do not have much money to spend eg: we're a family on a tight budget
prohibitive (adj) If the cost of something is prohibitive, it is too expensive for most people (prohibitivo) eg: Hotel prices in the major cities are high but not prohibitive
amenity, amenities (noun) something, such as a swimming pool or shopping centre, that is intended to make life more pleasant or comfortable for the people in a town, hotel, or other place (servicio) eg: The council has some spare cash, which it proposes to spend on public ameniti
security blanket - something that makes you feel safe or confident - a soft object such as a small piece of cloth or a toy that is very familiar to a baby or young child and makes him or her feel safe
stark (adj) empty, simple, or obvious, especially without decoration or anything that is not necessary eg: It was a stark room with a bed and chair as the only furniture
resilience (n) the ability to be happy, successful, etc. again after something difficult or bad has happened -Trauma researchers emphasize the resilience of the human psyche
round up something/someone(ph. v) to gather people, animals, or things into one place eg: The brothers set about rounding up the horses
