Scalene Triangle a triangle with no congruent sides.
Isosceles Triangle a triangle with at least two congruent sides
Equilateral Triangle a triangle with three congruent sides
Acute Triangle a triangle with all three angles measuring less than 90°
Obtuse Triangle a triangle containing one obtuse angle
Right Triangle a triangle containing a right angle
parallelogram a quadrilateral with two pairs of parallel sides
Rhombus a parallelogram with all sides congruent
Rectangle a parallelogram with 4 right angles
Square a rectangle with 4 congruent sides
Trapezoid a quadrilateral with exactly one pair of parallel sides
Kite a quadrilateral with two pairs of adjacent congruent sides
Polygon a closed plane figure formed by three or more line segments
Side A line bounding a geometric figure
Vertex of a Polygon The point where two sides of a polygon intersect
Regular Polygon A polygon with congruent sides and angles
Triangle Polygon with 3 sides, 3 angles
quadrilateral polygon with 4 sides and angles
pentagon polygon with 5 sides and angles
hexagon polygon with 6 sides and angles
heptagon polygon with 7 sides and angles
octagon polygon with 8 sides and angles
