Gnáthóg An Timpeallacht nádúrtha ina gcónaíonn orgánach. (An Áit)
Cumann Na hainmhithe agus plandaí ar fad a mhaireann i gceantar ar leith (gnáthóg) agus a roineann na hachmhainní sa cheantar sin.
Nideog An ról (jab) ata ag speicis sa chumann agus conas a idirgníomhaíonn sé le horganaigh eile.
Tosca Aibitheacha Na Tosca (Factors) a bhfuil tiochar acu ar orgánaigh ina gnáthóga m.s. Teocht an aeir & ithreach, pH na hithreach, déine solais srl.
Táirgeoirí Orgánaigh a dhéanann bhfuar gcuid bia fhéin uaidh fotasintéis agus a gcuireann bia ar fáil d’orgánaigh eile.
Tomhaltóirí Orgánaigh (ainmhithe den chuid is mó) a itheann orgánaigh eile. (níl siad in ann bia a dhéanamh iad fhéin.)
Luibhiteoirí Tomhatóirí a itheann plandaí ach amhain.
Feoiliteoirí Tomhatóirí a itheann ainmhithe eile.
