Simplify the expressions using index laws

QuestionAnswer
When multiplying indices, you ? the indices. add
When there is a power on a power, you ? the indices. multiply
When there is a zero power, you always get ? one
When you have negative powers, the answer is always a ? fraction

The ? always stays the same. base number

To apply the index laws, the ? must be the same. base number
