| Planning | Creating a “roadmap” to completing a task or goal |
| Organization | Designing and maintaining a system to keep track of materials |
| Attention | Being able to focus on a person or task for a given period of time |
| Self-Control | Being able to stop and think in order to control your words and actions |
| Task Initiation | Independently starting a task and being able to overcome procrastination |
| Perseverance | Sticking with a task and not giving up, even when it is challenging |
| Working Memory | Holding information in our minds while working with it |
| Flexibility | The ability to adapt to new situations and deal with change |
| Metacognition | Being aware of what you know and what you don’t know to help you learn best |
| Time Management | Having an accurate understanding of time in order to work efficiently |
