zero pairs, additive inverse, positive and negative integers

integer a positive or negative whole number
rational number Numbers with decimals or fractions
positive direction on a number line right/up

sum the total when you add
difference the total when you subtract
opposite the same number, where one is positive and one is negative
additive inverse a property that states if you add a number and its opposite, it equals 0
product The answer when you multiply numbers together.
quotient The answer when you divide numbers.
numerator top part of the fraction
denominator bottom of the fraction
