Symptom A physical or mental problem that a patient feels
Lethargic A decrease in level consciousness; it can be caused by a injury, illness, or drugs
Acute Severe symptom; it can happen quickly and it can be a serious or life threatening
Febrile To have fever
Afebrile To not have fever
L and D Labor and delivery room
SICU Surgical intensive care unit; For critically ill patients that require surgery or are recovering from surgery
ER Emergency room; A room for patients who need fast medical care
OR Operating room; Preforms surgery
PICU Pediatric intensive unit care; Children are taken care of when they have the highest level of medical care
