CMP: Accentuate the Negative

QuestionAnswer
absolute value The absolute value of a number is its distance form 0 on a number line.
integers The whole numbers and their opposites.
inverse operations Operations that "undo" each other.
negative number A number less than 0.
number sentence A mathematical statement that gives the relationship between two expressions, which are composed of numbers. And operation signs.
opposites Two numbers whose sum is 0.
positive number A number greater than 0.
quadrants The four sections into which the coordinate plane is divided by the x and y axes.
