6.3 Decimals

| Decimal | A number with a decimal point, represented by the period. *Note: whole numbers have an implied decimal after the number ex. 4 = 4. |
| Place Value | The value of where the digit is in the number. |
| Add Decimals | -Line up the decimals vertically (up and down)- tf there is no decimal, it is assumed to be at the end. Ex. 6 = 6. -Fill in any blank spots with 0's -Add (remember to regroup if needed) -Bring down the decimal |
