Graphing Quadratics

When you graph a quadratic equation, you get a parabola
To solve a quadratic equation set the factors equal to zero
A negative leading coefficient of a quadratic equation creates a MAXIMUM or MINIMUM maximum

Another name for the x-intercepts are the roots
The y-coordinate of the x-intercepts is always zero
When a quadratic equation has a positive leading coefficient, the parabola will open upwards
