| Inhabitants | A person or animal that lives in and occupies a place. |
| Insulate | Protect something by interposing material that prevents the loss of heat. |
| Conserve | To protect something from harm or destruction. |
| Composting | To make vegetable matter or manure into compost. |
| Incentives | A thing that motivates or encourages someone to do something. |
| Pollution | The presence of something in the environment that is harmful or poisonous. |
| Toxic | Poisonous. |
| Capitalist | A wealthy person who uses money to invest in trade and industry for profit. |
| Revitalization | The action of imbuing something with new life and vitality. |
| Degradation | The condition or process of degrading or being degraded. |
| Stakeholders | A person with an interest or concern in something, especially a business. |
