Syllabus An outline of the material in a course of study.
DSS Providing accessibility to students who have disabilities.
Certificate An official document proving a certain fact.
Default A preselected option adopted by a computer.
Pre-Requisite A thing that is required prior for something else to happen.
GPA Grade point average; an indication of a student's academic achievement.
Degree Evaluation A way to compare degree's earned in one country to the ones earned in another country.
FAFSA A form completed by college students to determine financial aid eligibility.
Transferred Moving from one placed to another.
Major A student's main subject or course of study.
Disqualified Declared ineligible because of an offense or infringement.
Text Written/ printed words
Academic Advisor Someone at an institution to guide students through college processes.
Developmental Concerned with the development of someone or something.
Commencement A beginning or start.
Financial Aid Funding available to students attending post-secondary education.
Accommodation The process of adapting or adjusting to someone or something.
Associate's Degree A degree granted after a two-year course of study.
Application A formal request for access to something.
