What is a Polyhedron? A 3D shape where all the sides are a polygon
What is a Solid? A 3D shape that encloses a space
What is a Prism? Polyhedron that has two parallel, identical basses
What is a Pyramid? Polyhedron that has one base and L.F. are triangles
What are Faces? Flat surface of the polyhedron
What are Edges? The line segment two points connect
What is a Vertex? The point where three sides connect
What is a Net? 2D representation of a figure
What is the surface area? The total area of all the faces of a 3D figure
What is the 1st step on finding the surface area? We label every face of the solid
What is the 2nd step on finding the surface area? We match the right measurements to each of every face
What is the 3rd step on finding the surface area? We find the area of every face
What is the 4th step on finding the surface area? We add up the sum area
What is the 5th step on finding the surface area? We write the measurement squared
