Fractions

Introduction

TermDefinition
Fractions equal parts of a whole
Whole a full item or shape without any missing parts
Numerator the number on top of the fraction bar showing how many parts of something are shaded or missing
Denominator the number on the bottom of a fraction bar showing how many equal parts there are altogether
Equal Parts pieces are the same exact size
Unequal Parts pieces are different sizes
