hypothetical supposed, possible His idea was only hypothetical, so he had to test it to make sure he was correct.
convergance meeting, coming together The Ohio River forms at the convergence of the Allegheny and Monongahela rivers.
dispersed scattered, spread around To help her teacher, Jenna dispersed the papers to all the students.
