scold , verb to speak angrily to somebody, especially a child, because they have done something wrong.
bury (buried) , verb to put something or a dead body under the ground.
hide (hidden) , verb To put something where other people cannot find it.
sparkle , verb sparkle (with something ) to shine brightly with small flashes of light.
tend , verb tend to do something because this is what usually happens, or it can mean to take care of something
harvest , noun or verb noun: food we grow from the garden or field; verb: to gather or collect food grown
treasure , noun a collection of valuable things such as gold, silver and jewelery
field or plain , noun an area of land in the country, usually used to grow crops or keep animals
wheat , noun a type of grain that is used to produce the flour for bread, cakes, pasta, etc.
earth , noun the world; the planet that we live on, the dirt or soil on the planet
roots , noun the part of a plant that grows under the ground and takes in water that it sends through the plant
sprout , noun a baby plant
ditch , noun a long row or channel dug in a field or by a road, to hold or take away water
surface , noun the outside or top layer of something
