How are biofuels and fossil fuels the same? biofuels and fossil fuels are both burned for energy.
What is a downside/cost to bioenergy? The energy that goes into making these biofuels is often equal to or greater than the energy they yield. Also not much better for the atmosphere than burning fossil fuels.
