scale the relative size of something
temperature a measure of how hot or cold something is
viscosity a liquid's resistance to flowing
mass the measure of the amount of matter in a body
weight the measure of the amount of force acting on a mass due to the acceleration due to gravity
density the mass per unit volume of a substance or object.

substance matter with a composition that is always the same
