| Hyperbole | Extreme exaggeration |
| Imagery | The use of words to create images appealing to the five senses. |
| Rhyme Scheme | A specific pattern of end rhyme within a stanza |
| Stanza | A group of lines in a poem that form a part of section of a poem |
| Line | A single row of text in a poem |
